La imagen es por si misma un impacto para el ser humane, máxime cuando esta puede ser intervenida por este, es así como la fotografía desde el mismo momento que hace su aparición en la historia resulta un objeto de interés profundo. Ahora bien; cuando esta intenta reproducir la “realidad”, cuando la manipula (casi todas las veces), cuando la transforma para generar formas nuevas, etc. Puede inducir al observador por los derroteros deseados.
Por estos tiempos de la era digital, en la cual a decir de “Giovanni Sartori” surge el homo videns, asunto casi argumentado por los neuro científicos quienes han logrado establecer y priorizar la importancia de los sentidos, asistiendo de este modo a una nueva éoca en la evolución humane.
Las formas fotográficas que hoy encontramos son de una diversidad extrema, que va desde la reproducción casi fiel del objeto o sujeto fotografiado hasta la creación de “fantasías”, pasando por la intervención de la imagen con cualidades que antes solo observábamos en el cine.
Así, fotografiar hoy es un ejercicio rutinario, desde el teléfono móvil o desde los equipos mas sofisticados. Pero surge en mi una pregunta ¿todo es en verdad fotografiable, en el sentido estético? O acaso ¿tomar una imagen no es mas que trasladar lo que miramos para que otros lo miren?
Creo que estamos invitados a estar concientes de para cual función deseamos capturar una imagen, bien con intenciones científicas, bien académicas, artísticas, publicitarias, eróticas, educativas, policiales, etc. Para no confundir ni molestar a quien observa, haciéndole perder el tiempo tras un desconocimiento de lo que observará.
